This week I watched 4 movies: Before the devil knows you're dead, Amelie, Misery and Lost call... Here are my reviews:

Esta semana mire 4 peliculas: Antes que el diablo sepa que estas muerto, Amelie, Misery y Llamada perdida... Aqui estan mis comentarios:











Before the devil knows you're dead --> I really liked this movie, I didn't have a clue of what was it about, I just liked the title and rented it... I don't think the story has a lot to do with the title, but the movie has that format where it goes back and forth in time, it has a lot of plot twists and turns and overall it's different, has a good story line and it's very dramatic (in it's own way) and believable.

Realmente me gustó esta película, no tenía idea de lo que se trataba, me gustó sólo el título y la rentamos ... No creo que la historia tiene mucho que ver con el título, pero la película tiene ese formato en el que va hacia adelante y hacia atrás en el tiempo, pero tiene un gran número de cambios o cosas inesperadas y, en general, es diferente, tiene una buena historia y es muy dramática (en su propia manera) y creíble.

Amelie --> I had own Amelie for a while but had never seen it, not sure why. Overall it was pretty funny and also unique. I liked the way they filmed it and the sense of humor. At first if was difficult to me to follow up the subtitles and "ignore" their voices (in French), even though I'm used to reading subtitles, but overall it was very enjoyable and a good movie to watch with the girls.

Tuve esta pelicula por un tiempo pero nunca la había visto, no estoy segura de por qué. En general,es muy divertida y también única. Me gustó la forma en que se filmó y el sentido del humor. Al principio si me fue difícil para darle seguimiento a los subtítulos e "ignorar" sus voces (en francés), a pesar de que estoy acostumbrada a la lectura subtítulos, pero en general es muy agradable y una buena película para ver con las amigas.

Lost call --> I liked it more than I expected. It was not super scary, and at first it was a bit cheesy but it got better toward the end and it also had some interesting surprises.

Me gusto mas de lo que esperaba. No me asusto demasiado, y al principio estuvo medio manfleix, pero se puso buena al final y tambien tuvo sorpresas interesantes.

Misery --> At first I was bored, and fell asleep (this was about 3 weeks ago), and because of that I didn't want to finish watching it :-D Any way, finally yesterday (encouraged by the recommendations of 2 other friends) I finished watching it... And I have to say, I was disspointed :-( mainly because John READ the book and had told me a few of the things that happened to the guy (to encourage me to watch it)... but he forgot some of the "better" parts were NOT on the movie... so I was expecting more, and when the movie ended I was like "that's it???".

Al principio yo estaba aburrida, y me dormi (esto fue aproximadamente hace 3 semanas), y debido a eso no quería terminar de verla :-D De cualquier manera, finalmente el día de ayer (alentada por las recomendaciones de otras 2 amigas) la termine de ver ... Y tengo que decir, que me decepciono :-( principalmente porque John habia leído el libro y me dijo algunas de las cosas que le hicieron al fulano (para que me animara a verla) ... pero se le olvidó algunas de las "mejores" partes no estan en la película ... por lo que esperaba más, y cuando terminó la película termino me quede como "eso es todo???".
