Oscars 2011

There were a LOT of gorgeous dresses at the Oscars this year... And I'm sure I'm missing some.

I will say though, that I was not super impressed with Reese Witherspoon way too simple dress, nor Penelope Cruz' drag queen-ish dress, and even though I thought Sandra Bullock's dress was very pretty there was something about the way it fit her (particularly in the boob area) that turned me off...

And now without further due, some of my favorite dresses of this year:

 Hailey Steinfeld, I haven't watched True Grit, but I think her dress is very cute and age appropriate :-)

 Helen Mirren, not only she looks gorgeous, she also picks super classy dresses that are very appropriate :-)

 Hillary Swank

 Jennifer Hudson (I have to admit that I liked this dress more when I saw it on TV and I thought it was red... but it's a great dress any way :-D).

Golden Globes 2011

Thanksgiving 2010

This last Thanksgiving John and I took a mini-vacation to a (very) small town in the Ozarks, we rented a cabin and spent the entire weekend there, taking a few field trips :-)  Including beautiful Spring Alley.

It was very relaxing but also really cold!!!  

I was 17 weeks pregnant then :-)

El dia de Accion de Gracias pasado, John y yo nos tomamos unas mini-vacaciones en un pueblito cerca de una zona que se llama los Ozarks, rentamos una cabana y pasamos todo el fin de semana ahi, incluyendo algunas salidas en el area, como a Spring Alley, un manantial muy bonito :-).

Fue muy relajante pero tambien muy frio!!!

Tenia 17 semanas de embarazo en ese tiempo :-)

Fall 2010

Last Fall we took a short drive to see the changing leaves :-)  Like I've said before, I don't live in the sticks, but I live 5 minutes away from the sticks, so this is actually really close to our house :-)

We took the girls with us and we actually saw 2 deer on the way there.  It was a nice short trip.

El otono pasado salimos a dar la vuelta para ver las hojas cambiar de color :-)  No vivo en un rancho, pero vivo a 5 minutos del rancho, asi que esto esta muy cerca de mi casa :-)

Llevamos a las perras con nosotros y vimos 2 venados cuando ibamos de camino.  Fue un viaje corto agradable.
