Week Recap

This was a pretty busy week, and I've been pretty tired, but I just wanted to share a few pictures of this week's activities.

Esta semana estuvo muy ocupada, y he andado muy cansada, pero queria compartir algunas fotos de las actividades de esta semana.

DANVILLE, IL

First I had to go to Danville, IL for work, to visit one of our customers. Danville is a small town close to Champaing, it has around 30,000 inhabitants, BUT, it's so spread out that it definetely seems like the have less.

Primero fui a Danville, IL del trabajo, a visitar a uno de nuestros clientes. Danville es un pueblito cerca de Champaing, tiene alrededor de 30,000 habitantes pero estan tan esparcidos que parece que son muchos menos.

The Mississipi River... That was the first time I saw it and crossed it :-)

El rio Mississipi... Esa fue la primera vez que la vi y que lo cruce :-)

PICNIC

We decided to go to our lot to take the puppies to smell around what will be their new home... and have a picnic there. It was a bit hard because of the topography of the lot, so we decided to tailgate :-)

Decidimos llevar a las perras al lote para que anduvieran oliendo lo que va a ser su nuevo hogar... y tener un picnic ahi. Iba a ser un poco dificil por la topografia del lote, asi que decimos comer en la parte de atras del carro :-)

GETTING TO KNOW CHESTERFIELD

After the picnic we decided to drive around in Chesterfield, I had seen a sign that said "Faust Park" on one of the exits we take to our apartment (depending on where we are coming from), so we decided to go an explore it.

Despues del picnic decicimos manejar alrededor de Chesterfield, yo habia visto un letrero que decia "Faust Park" en una de las salidas que usamos para ir a nuestro departamento (dependiendo de donde venimos), asi que decidimos ir a explorarlo.

There is a Butterfly House inside of Faust Park

We took this road that leads to the house of Governor Bates, who lived there in the 1800s

Usamos este camino para ir a la casa del Gobernador Bates, quien vivio ahi alrededor de 1800

I really liked this sculpture, that's in front of the post office in Chesterfield

Me gusto mucho esta escultura que esta en frente de la oficina de correos de Chestefield
