One of the things I miss the most about San Diego is the radio, there are several reasons for this:
1) The music here is older (i.e. I've heard Mambo #5 at least TWICE since I've been here!!! And songs by MC Hammer!!! LOL).
2) I've only found 1 morning show... And I HATE it!!! :-( I'm not sure if it's the only one, but I liked Jeff and Jer and AJ's Playhouse, and the first time I heard this one the host said he had "suspended Froggy" for something that he did on the air... I thought he was joking... he wasn't... I just thought "oh, come on, you take yourself too seriously".
3) I found 1 radio station that I liked and I was making it part of my repertoire... Well, it's October and they're playing CHRISTMAS music already!!! I found out that they're changing the format of that particular radio station to a sports station... but it kind of sucks because there wasn't that many decent radio stations to begin with!!! Which brings me to my next point...
4) Not that it's STL fault, but in San Diego, I enjoyed at least TWICE the radio stations than here... Here I've only used 5 of my preset radio station buttons!!! (I have 12 total). Let me explain to my new readers from STL: In San Diego, I was used to having more radio stations that I liked, first because less stations (maybe only 1 or 2) played country, but also because I had almost the same amount of Spanish radio stations transmiting from Tijuana that I listened to...
5) I consider myself somewhat conservative... But here they sensor the Sh$#%# out of songs... C'on... I don't think a little "ass" here and there (in a song) never hurt anybody!!! LOL
6) They don't play ANY reggeaton!!! :-(
Ok... rant's over. I'm just happy to be living in 2008 and being able to listen to my favorite radio stations online :-) I'll take my speakers to work tomorrow!!!

I think the best thing to do would be move back to San Diego! Okay, maybe I'm just being a little selfish here, but in my head it's the perfect solution to your problem ;) Miss you!!
I wish St. Louis wasn't so behind when it comes to music either.
