De Monterrey

I'm not sure if this story is going to make sense to my readers in English, so I had originally thougth about only posting it in Spanish... But after I found out the "truth" I decided maybe it will make sense... Any way, bear with me!!!

A couple of weeks ago a customer came into our company... Picture this: beige shoes, designer jeans, beige belt, almost hot PINK shirt!!! Big attitude!!!

I wasn't sure, but I could've swore that this guy was from Mexico, specifically from Monterrey, I even "knew" he had probably graduated from the Technological Institute of Monterrey :-) mostly because of his "if you need anything... call me" comment and some similar ones (like "don't be afraid to ask me")... People that graduate from that college usually expect to graduate and get hired at CEO right after...

I had had a similar experience a few years ago on another job, when a guy (who actually graduated from there and was a few years younger than me), gave me a complete (and unecessary) lesson of something that I already knew.. But they are the customer right? It doesn't even bother me... If they want to "teach me", go right ahead!!! :-D

Any way, a few days ago, I talked with somebody and asked about where was that guy from... I'm happy to report, he's NOT from Mexico!!! I will not reveal here where he's actually from as to not to offend anyone from that country, but it's not the US either, but if you're wondering, ask me in person!!! :-D

Al principio no estaba segura de que esta historia iba a tener sentido para mis lectores en ingles, y originalmente pense en postear solo en espanol... Pero despues de descubrir "la verdad" pense que tal vez si tenga sentido... De cualquier manera aqui va!!!

Hace un par de semanas vino un cliente a nuestra compania... Imaginense esto: zapatos beige, jeans de disenador, cinto beige, y camisa ROSA!!! Con un ego gigante!!!

No estaba segura, pero hubiera jurado que el wey era de Mexico, de Monterrey para ser especificos, y hasta "sabia" que se habia graduado del Instituto Tecnologico de Monterrey :-) principalmente por los comentarios que hizo como "si necesitas algo... llamame" y "no tengas miedo de preguntar", entre otros... La gente que se gradua de ahi usualmente piensa que saliendo le van a dar puesto de Presidente de la compania...

Yo habia tenido una experiencia similar hace anios cuando trabajaba en otra compania, cuando un muchacho (que si se graduo de ahi y era un par de anios menor que yo), quien me dio una leccion completa (e innecesaria) sobre algo que yo ya sabia. Pero ellos son los clientes, no? La verdad ni me molesta. Si me quieren "ensenar", adelante!!! :-D

Bueno, de cualquier manera hace unos dias tuve la oportunidad de preguntarle a alguien si sabia de donde es el wey, y me da mucho gusto reportar que NO es de Mexico!!! No voy a revelar de donde es para no ofender a la gente de ese pais, pero tampoco es de aqui (US), pero si tienen curiosidad, preguntenme en persona!!!
