Downtown STL

We went to Downtown St. Louis yesterday for some family portraits (and yes, by family I mean that they include Mia and Marley :-D), while we were waiting for out photographer I took some pictures of my own :-) Oh yes, with the super nice camera that John gave me for my birthday :-)

On a small side note: we had a wonderful experience when we got there, we had parked on the stree and gotten off the car, and we were trying to find out at what time you don't have to feed the meters any more, so I asked this guy who was in his car and had a small dog with him, he said 7, so we were still more than 1 hour away, we looked for change, none of us had any, and we were trying to decide if we should risk getting a ticket or move my car to a parking lot (more expensive since the Cardinals were playing) when the guy rolls down his window and offers us $1.25 in quarters!!!  I can't tell you how much I appreciated that, not only for the gesture but also because it keeps my hope alive that there are good people out there and that the world is a good place to live in :-)
