Cardinals Game

This week we also took the teens from the Youth Group to a Cardinals game, they were playing against the Cincinatti Reds, and even though I still don't care that much for the Cardinals (sorry) and don't care at all for the Reds, I still had a wonderful time, specially when they played (and I danced to) Pump It  by The Black Eyed Peas :-) Which made one of the girls say: "Pilar, I'm definitely inviting you to my 21st birthday party" LOL

Oh yeah, and the Cards won 4-1 that night and we made it back home safe after driving in the worse storm I've driven here (the visibility was extremely poor, there was hail and thunder and lightening constantly!!! Scary stuff!!!).

Esta semana tambien llevamos a los muchachos del Grupo de Jovenes a un juego de los Cardenales, estaban jugando contra los Reds de Cincinatti, y aunque todavia no soy super fan de los Cardenales (sorry) y los Reds me valen queso, me diverti mucho, especialmente cuando tocaron (y yo baile mientras tocaban) Pump It, de Los Black Eyed Peas :-) Lo que hizo que una de las muchachas me dijera: "Pilar, definitivamente te voy a inventar a mi fiesta de cumpleanios cuando cumpla 21" jajaja.

Ah si, los Cardenales ganaron esa noche 4-1, y llegamos de regreso sanos y salvos despues de manejar (eramos 4 carros) en la peor tormenta en la que me ha tocado manejar aqui (no se veia nada y estaba granizando y con rayos y truenos a todo lo que da!!!  La verdad si me dio miedillo :-D).

I took them to buy some snacks and they wanted to sit in this area for a bit, a worker came by and asked to take a picture of us that would be available on their website...  And she tells one of the girls: "Your can stand over there with your mom" or something like that... Dang, I know that I just turned 30 but I didn't think I looked like I could have 6 teens LOL

Los lleve a comprar cochinero y se querian sentar aqui un ratito, una trabajadora de ahi paso y nos pidio que nos tomara una foto que estaria disponible en su pagina de internet.... Y le dice a una de las muchachas: "Te puedes parar alla con tu mama" o algo asi...  Mta, ya se que acabo de cumplir 30 pero no pensaba que me viera como alguien que puede tener 6 hijos adolescentes jajaja

Someone jumped on the field during the game... Looked pretty harmless, like a College student or something, and even though he could've kept running, he gave up quickly :-)

Un wey brinco al campo durante el juego...  Se notaba que no le iba a hacer dano a nadie, parecia un estudiante universitario o algo asi, y aunque parecia que podria haber seguido corriendo se entrego rapidamente :-)
