So yeah... I guess I'm cheap :-S

I'm just not the kind of person that would spend $200 or $300 in a pair of sunglasses, I know I'm not going to take good care of them, or put them in their case all the time, that I'm probably going to end up sitting on them at one point specially and because I know that:

Time of use of glasses = ________1________

Cost of glasses

For those with little math background this means that the time that you'll use your glasses is inversely proportional to the cost of the glasses, therefore, the more the sunglasses cost, the smaller their "lifespan" will be.

So, last winter I bought my latest pair for $5 at the mall (yeah, I couldn't let a sale like that pass by), and I really liked them, but a couple of days ago I noticed that the frame had cracked on the inside, it's not very visible from the "outside" but I told my husband about it, the conversation went something like this:

Me: "Oh guess what? My glasses cracked!"

John: "And you feel cheap wearing them now?"

Me: "Nope, I feel cheap wearing them because they started peeling a while back" :-S

I thought this was a bit funny, so I wanted to post it, and a few minutes ago, when I was taking some pictures to blog I noticed that the peeling and scratches look crappier than I thought :-( I'm even embarrassed to post those pictures :-S It's definitely time to buy new sunglasses!!!

Yo no soy el tipo de persona que gastaria $200 o $300 en un par de lentes para el sol, yo se que no los voy a cuidar, ni a meter a su estuche todo el tiempo, que voy a terminar sentandome en ellos una que otra vez y que:

Tiempo de uso de los lentes = ________1________

Costo de los lentes

Para la gente que no sabe mucho de matematicas esto quiere decir que el tiempo de "vida" de los lentes es inversamente proporcional al costo de los mismos, por lo tanto, entre mas cuesten los lentes, menos tiempo de uso van a tener.

Asi que el invierno pasado compre unos lentes por $5 en el centro comercial (no podia dejar pasar la especial)d, y la verdad si me habian gustado mucho, pero hace unos dias me di cuenta que el marco se habia quebrado por dentro (no se nota "por fuera"), le conte a John y la conversacion fue mas o menos asi:

Yo: "Que crees? Mis lentes se quebraron!"

John: "Y que, te sientes coda por traerlos puestos?"

Yo: "No, me siento coda porque ya tiene un rato que se estan descarapelando" :-S

Se me hizo medio chistoso y decidi postear al respecto, pero ahorita que estaba tomando las fotos me di cuenta que se ven super rayados y las descarapeladas se ven bien gachas :-( Hasta me da verguenza publicar esas fotos :-S Yo creo que definitivamente es hora de comprar lentes nuevos!!!
