My Friday Night Project

We're going to the Padres game against the Cardinals at Busch Stadium tomorrow... And Since I lived in San Diego I've been wanting to bring a "Adrian's(Gonzalez) #1 Fan" sign but I just hadn't actually gone through and done it...

I'm a big fan of Adrian because he was raised in Tijuana, the same city I was born in, and I used to work with 2 of her cousins, he's pretty good and he seems really nice and humble.

This is only my 2nd time bringing a sign to a Stadium (I should dig out those photos and scan them, since some random people helped me hold my sign :-D), the first was when I attended a quarter final game of the World Cup in Osaka, Japan, but then nobody really cared what my sign said since it was not really supporting either of teams, it was just saying "Greetings to Tijuana" (I carried the sign from Mexico to LAX to Tokio, and to Osaka). And I'm still not done with it (run out of the blue glitter), but I'll work on it for a bit tomorrow :-)

I can't wait to see them play tomorrow and cheer them, even if they're not doing great this season!!! I feel dorky, but I wanna show my support to my team :-)

Manana vamos a ir al juego de los Padres contra los Cardenales en el Estadio Busch... Y desde que vivia en San Diego he querido llevar una pancarta que dijera "Fan #1 de Adrian (Gonzalez)" pero nunca lo hice...

Me gusta mucho como jugador Adrian Gonzalez porque es buen jugador, fue criado en Tijuana, trabaje con 2 de sus primos y se me hace como que se ve buena onda y humilde.

Esta es la segunda vez que llevo una pancarta al estadio (deberia de buscan esas fotos y escanearlas, sobre todo porque desconocidos me ayudaron a cargar my pancarta :-D), la primera vez fue cuando fui a un juego de cuartos de final de la Copa del Mundo en Osaka, Japon, pero a nadie le importaba realmente lo que decia mi letrero porque no se referia a ningun equipo en particular, nada mas decia "Saludos a Tijuana" (cargue mi letrero desde Mexico, pasando por Los Angeles, Tokio y llegando a Osaka). Todavia no lo termino (se me acabo la brillantina azul), pero manana la acabo en la manana :-)

Tengo muchas ganas de verlos jugar manana aunque les ha estado yendo mal esta temporada!!! Me siento medio nerd, pero quiero demostrar mi apoyo al equipo :-)
