I met Claudia in 1998, on my first or second day in College, we were together in the orientation week, and we shared several classes during the first semesters. We quickly became friends and enjoyed going out together. When my mom got sick, Claudia would visit often and she was one of the persons (along with Hooli and Hugo, who are also in the pictures) that came to the hospital the night she passed away. After that she spent a week or two at my house keeping me company, and not only that, her and Pedro shared with me their first Valentine's Day together, making it a friends dinner rather than something just for both of them, which I will never forget.
She was also super helpful for our wedding, drove me around and visited me in San Diego when I couldn't cross the border (due to immigration procedings).
Claudia has been like a sister to me and I love her to death. I had a GREAT time attending their wedding, the type of time you can only have with friends you've known for a long time and with who you can be yourself completly, with who you can be goofy and make jokes and dance by yourself and they don't look down on you because they know you.
Claudia is one of the reasons I write this blog in Spanish. Claudia, love ya lots!!!

El viernes pasado fui a la boda de mis amigos Claudia y Pitt (Pedro, pero le empezamos a decir Pit en la universidad, como Pete, pero en "espaniol", y no se cuando cambie la forma de escribirlo a "Pitt").
Conoci a Claudia en 1998, el primer o segundo dia de orientacion en la Universidad, y estuvimos juntas en varias clases durante los primeros semestres. Nos hicimos amigas rapidamente y nos gustaba mucho salir juntas. Cuando mi mama se enfermo, Claudia nos visitaba seguido y fue una de las personas (junto con Hooli y Hugo, que tambien salen en estas fotos) que fue al hospital la noche que fallecio. Despues de eso, Claudia paso una o dos semanas durmiendo en mi casa para acompanarme, y no solo eso, sino que Claudia y Pitt compartieron su primer Dia de San Valentin juntos, convirtiendolo en una cena para amigos en vez de pasarsela solos, y eso es algo que no olvidare nunca.
Ella tambien me ayudo un chorro para nuestra boda, anduvo de mi chofer y me fui a visitar a San Diego cuando yo no podia cruzar la frontera (debido a los tramites migratorios).
Claudia ha sido como una hermana para mi y haria lo que fuera por ella. Me la pase super bien en su boda, me pase uno de esos ratos que nada mas puedes disfrutar con amigos que has conocido muchos anios con los cuales puedes ser tu mismo, porque puedes decir babosadas, decir chistes y bailar sola y nadie te juzga porque todos te conocen.
Claudia es una de las razones por las que escribo este blog en espanol. Claudia, te quiero un chingo!!!
