On Saturday we also went to Historic Downtown St. Charles to see Christmas Traditions, an annual event that takes place on Main St.
Almost the entire street is lined up with Christmas lights, they have carolers, and Santas from different parts of the world. And most of the antique and specialty shops are open during this time. On this street there's also a bunch of pubs and some restaurants (I have to go back during the day and take some pictures of the historic buildings because I didn't notice them the first time we drove through there and the pictures were NOT good at night).
We actually didn't get to see ANY carolers :-( But overall it was very nice to get out of the house, and see the buildings and feel the Christmas spirit :-)
