Sometimes I wish...

I could wear dresses to work :-( And it's not like it prohibited, but in an environment where there's 85 guys and 5 girls it doesn't feel that comfortable; plus, I have to walk on the production floor everyday, which is not super clean, so I could potentially ruin the dress the first time I wore it, and obviously, wearing high heels is not that safe. And, if I have to complain about working at a factory, I would say that they thing I like the least is smelling like a machine shop at the end of the day (it's not the worse smell ever, but it's the reason why I don't like going out right after work).

As I've said before, I love my job, I love the freedom of being able to work at my desk for a while and then go walking around to do something else, and I like the problem solving aspect of it... so I'm not actually complaining about that... But yesterday, John and I went early to have our Christmas lunch (one day late) at Bob Evans and then we went to the mall, first to Eddie Bauer to use some GC that my in-laws sent us and then to the movies to watch Marley and Me and we passed by Banana Republic and I saw this cute dresses:

Algunas veces me gustaria poder usar vestidos en el trabajo :-( No es como que este prohibido, pero en un ambiente donde hay 85 hombres y 5 mujeres, no es tan comodo; ademas, tengo que estar en el piso de produccion todos los dias, el cual no esta super limpio, lo que potencialmente podria arruinar el vestido la primera vez que me lo pusiera, y obviamente, ponerme tacones tampoco seria muy seguro. Y, si tuviera que quejarme de algo sobre trabajar en la planta, tendria que ser apestar a maquina todos los dias (no es el peor olor del mundo, pero es la razon por la que no me gusta salir a ninguna parte directamente despues del trabajo).

Como he mencionado antes, me encanta mi trabajo, la libertad de trabajar un rato en mi escritorio y luego caminar para hacer otras cosas, y me gusta resolver problemas... asi que en realidad no me estoy quejando de eso... Pero ayer, John y yo fuimos a nuestra comida de Navidad (un dia tarde) a Bob Evans, y de ahi nos fuimos al centro comercial, primero a Eddie Bauer a usar unos certificados de regalo que mis suegros nos mandaron y despues a ver Marley and Me al cine y pasamos en frente de Banana Republic y todos estos vestidos:

Ok, this last one might not be a "work dress" as much of the previous ones, but it's cute too!!!

Ok, este vestido no es "para el trabajo" como los otros pero tambien me gusto!!!
