It’s funny how, when you know you don’t have much time left (either alive or in a certain place) you try and pack all the activities you can, to remember that place and the best of it!!!
With this mind frame, I’ve gone to Tijuana to see my friends, to Fashion Valley for shopping, to Dave and Busters (we had never been there!!!) and to the Coronado Dog Beach!!! Which I also hadn’t visited… I must say, in my defense that I had gone to the Del Mar Dog Beach before, so it’s not like I had never taken the dogs to the beach… any way:
On Saturday, Dani brought her puppies, Jetta (the Husky) and Scout (I’m not sure what he is) and Natalie brought her recently rescued pug, Dahlia, for a puppy play group with Mia and Marley.
We spent almost 2 hours there and it was a lot of fun!!! We got in the water a bit, walked in the sand, and the puppies run around and smelled all kinds of interesting things.
The only bad thing was that Marley was getting “hurt” (her knees were buckling) often, I think it was the sand consistency that she was not used to that caused that, but it was sad to see her fall, and struggle and hurting… I even thought she might drawn if I didn’t pay attention… But I think she did enjoy it!!! On a positive note, we did find out that the surgery is about half of what was quoted here in San Diego!!! AND, if we do both knees at the same time, it could be about 1/4 of the original quote (worse case in San Diego, the total for both knees would be $6600, in St. Charles, if we do both knees at the same time, the highest would be $1700!!!).

Es chistoso como, cuando sabes que no te queda mucho tiempo (para vivir o en algún lugar) uno trata de hacer todas las actividades posibles para recorder ese lugar y las cosas buenas de éste!!!
Con eso en mente, he ido a Tijuana a ver a mis amigas, a Fashion Valley de compras, a Dave and Busters a comer (nunca habíamos ido!!!) y a la Playa para Perros a Coronado!!! Que tampoco había visitado… Pero debo decir, en mi defensa, que sí habíamos ido a la Playa para Perros en Del Mar, así que no es como que nunca había llevado a las perras a la playa… De cualquier manera:
El Sábado, Dani llevo a sus 2 perros, Jetta (una Husky) y Scout (no estoy segura que tipo de perro es) y Natalie llevó a su pug recientemente rescatada, Dalhia, para nuestro grupo de juego perruno, con Mia y Marley.
Pasamos casi 2 horas ahí y nos la pasamos muy bien!!! Nos metimos al agua un poco, caminamos en la arena, y los perros corrieron y olieron muchas cosas “interesantes”.
La única cosa mala fue que Marley se estaba “lastimando” (se le iban las rodillas) seguido, creo que la consistencia de la arena a la que no estaba acostumbrada causó eso, pero si era triste verla caerse y batallar y que le doliera… Hasta pensé que se podía ahogar si yo me descuidaba… Pero creo que lo disfruta!!! En una nota positiva, ya investigué y la cirugía nos saldría más barata en St. Charles de lo que nos habían dicho aquí en San Diego!!! Y si la operamos de ambas rodillas al mismo tiempo, va a ser como ¼ del costo (en el peor de los casos, en San Diego nos costaría $6600, y en St. Charles, si la operamos de las 2 al mismo tiempo, lo más que nos costaría serían $1700!!!).
