Back from Cali!!!

I'm back from San Diego!!! I had a WONDERFUL time!!! I'll try and make a fast recount of the weekend:

FRIDAY. Got to San Diego 20 minutes early (at 10:00 PM), Tessa and Janelle made me the huge favor of picking me up at the aiport... Janelle made a HUGE effort because she's 6 months along, so she was pretty tired; we went to a Starbucks on the Gaslamp in Downtown, we talked and laughed and it was great!!! Lots of fun!!!

SATURDAY. Got up early, had breaksfast with Tessa and her little girl, then she drove me to Chula Vista... I was prepared to take the trolley if need to, but with all the stuff that I had to carry it would've been a pain in the butt, so I really appreciated the ride (thanks Tessa!!!). Monica picked me up at the trolley station, and then we picked up Karol (insert lots of waiting time in between here :-D). Monica, Karol and I went to have lunch, and then they drove me to the San Ysidro border crossing.
I walked across and Marysol picked me, we headed to the church and attended Hooli's wedding ceremony, which was very sweet and nice. The church was really well decorated (it's a brand new church, less than a year old, so they're in the middle of building it) and one of the best parts was when the priest asked Hooli's 6 brothers to join them at the altar to show their support to their brother (pictures to come in minutes).
After the mass Marysol and I headed to a taco stand!!! I had a carne asada and adobada mulita (2 tortillas with cheese, and carne asada and carne adobada, which is typically broilling on a stick) and drank a Sangria (a type of soda in Mexico). I MISSED tacos soooooooooo much!!! I breathed in deeply when we go there and I took it all in!!! We then drove to Marysol's house where we talked, then Mario (Marysol's husband) got home and we ate some cheesecake (yes, I as eating like I was on vacation :-D) and drank 2 glasses of Baily's and milk (way more milk than Bailey's for me please) then I changed and they both took me to the wedding's reception (I had invited Marysol to go with me, but since she's also pregnant she decided to pass).
The reception was REALLY fun!!! They had 3 live bands, the food was pretty good and the cake was fantastic. As soon as I got there I saw Hooli and we took a picture togehter, I went crazy with the camera, and I'm glad I did (you'll see!!!).
After the party, Claudia, Pitt and I went to a taco stand (no, I didn't eat more LOL) and then Claudia and I headed back to Marysol's house to spend the night.
SUNDAY. Again got up somewhat early (before 8), took a shower and spend a bit more time with Claudia, Marysol and Mario. Then Claudia drove me back to the border, and Tessa picked me up. Tessa, Dani and I got together for brunch at The Livingroom, and it was great seeing Dani (who's due in February) again!!!
I was VERY happy to see my friends, not only at the wedding, but during the trip!!! It truly filled my heart with joy to see everybody, and hug them and spent time together. I feel truly blessed for having so many friends that care about me as much as I care about them. I think I'll never get tired of saying that I love my friends a lot and that I always feel thankful to have them in my life :-)

Tessa, Dani y yo fuimos a comer a The Livingroom, y me dio mucho gusto ver a Dani (quien va a dar a luz en Febrero) nuevamente!!!
